So in order to promote the upcoming Blu-ray release of the Indiana Jones series, Steven Spielberg has remastered the audio for Raiders of the Lost Ark to have surround sound, and made the film cleaner through restoration, without actually changing any of the special effects (so he didn't pull a Lucas). Also, for one week only next month, Raiders of the Lost Ark will be in theaters on IMAX screens, starting September 7th. I only wish I had the time to see it. I can only imagine the boulder sequence on the huge screen.
